Caviar, which you likely know for releasing insanely expensive versions of iPhones made of gold, is at it again. This time around, the iPhone 17 Pro has a literal piece of Steve Jobs’ turtleneck inside the casing.
The company is releasing this to coincide with Apple’s 50th birthday, which is actually on April 1st. Though, the company has been celebrating it all month, with an Alicia Keys concert in Grand Central Station a few weeks ago, and other celebrations.
Caviar is offering this version of the iPhone 17 Pro in 256GB, 512GB and 1TB storage models, with the 256GB starting at $9,630. Roughly 9x more expensive than the regular iPhone 17 Pro.

Why Steve Jobs’ turtleneck?
In case you didn’t know, Steve Jobs’, the co-founder of Apple, famously always wore blue jeans and a black turtleneck when on-stage announcing new products. It was so famous in fact, that a lot of Chinese companies started to copy this – mostly Xiaomi, in its early days.
Caviar says that “this detail elevates the smartphone into a museum-worthy collector’s piece, where Apple’s technological legacy meets a tangible trace of the man who shaped its destiny.”
There’s a tiny turtleneck patch that can be seen in the Apple logo on the phone’s design. Caviar also says that the “aesthetics of the handset will also be modded in a way inspired by the iPhone 2G”. That’s because of the contrasting blocks of black and silver and custom engraving.
This is a very expensive iPhone, and really only for those that are mega Apple fans. As we’re talking over $10k (with taxes included) for an iPhone that is already 6+ months old, just to include a small block of an old turtleneck. Keep in mind, Steve Jobs passed away over a decade ago. But for those that really are big Apple fans, this is a great piece to purchase.
