Marriott International has completed a $100-million renovation of its Sheraton Boston hotel, as the Back Bay property makes its 60th anniversary. The revamp affected all public spaces in the hotel, including dining venues and meeting areas, along with guest rooms. Construction on the makeover concluded with renovation of its restaurant, Henderson at Sheraton Boston, the Boston Business Journal reported.
“For more than 60 years, Sheraton Boston has been a leader in the community and one of the skyline’s most recognized landmarks,” said general manager Dan Kakabeeke. “This renovation honors our legacy while reimagining every area to help guests feel comfortable and fully present, so they can effortlessly enjoy all that Boston has to offer.”
Located at 39 Dalton St., the hotel is slated to open a lounge for Marriott Bonvoy members in late September. It is now one of more than 70 Sheraton properties worldwide that have been reimagined.
