If you want to take a hit of some old-school, rear-drive performance while you still can, are looking for some prestige, and have a reasonable budget to spend, you may be attracted to a BMW. After all, in the shape of an M2, you’re going to get a very competent car with a twin-turbo straight-six, plenty of heritage, plus a good dealer and service network capability to back it all up. However, the M2 is a rather compact two-door coupe which, for many, and especially with a family in tow, presents some challenges.
