BMW wants you to remember that it still makes three versions of the 8 Series, and so it is launching a new special edition. The new car is called the Edition M Heritage, and while that name is a reference to the five classic paint shades BMW will offer, some might see it as a nod to how BMW M has changed since the original 8 Series launched in 1989.
