In addition to announcing the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung also announced the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra series at IFA 2025. As part of it, the Galaxy Tab S11 and Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra have been presented. We’ve decided to issue one of our IFA 2025 awards to the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra, the more powerful of the two tablets Samsung announced. That is the company’s new flagship tablet, by the way, and it really is a powerhouse in every way, shape, and form.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is Samsung’s new flagship tablet
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is actually a huge tablet. It’s notably larger than the Galaxy Tab S11. It features a 14.6-inch display, compared to a 10.9-inch one on the Galaxy Tab S11. You can easily enjoy watching movies on this tablet and doing all sorts of other things. Samsung has included rather powerful multitasking tools in its software that comes pre-installed on the tablet. That will put the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra’s gigantic display to good use, that’s for sure. The possibilities are endless, especially if you consider the fact that this tablet not only supports an S Pen stylus but comes with one included in the box.
Yes, that display is big and beautiful, but that’s not the only benefit of this tablet. The bezels are also quite thin, which makes the tablet not as big as it could have been. The MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor fuels the device. That is MediaTek’s most powerful chip at the moment, and it’s an outstanding processor. Samsung decided to pair that with 12GB or 16GB of RAM, depending on what variant you get. Storage options range from 128GB to 1TB, so there’s an option for everyone. If you need even more storage, you can use a microSD card in order to expand the storage here, a microSD card up to 2TB.
It has two cameras on the back and ships with Android 16 out of the box
Samsung opted for an 11,600mAh battery here, while the device has two cameras on the back. A 13-megapixel main camera is paired with an 8-megapixel ultrawide snapper. Android 16 is also included here, along with the One UI 8.0 skin from Samsung. Yes, the device is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance too, while you’ll find an in-display fingerprint scanner here as well.
The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra is not exactly cheap, though. It’s notably more expensive than the Galaxy Tab S11, but it does bring the very best Samsung has to offer. It is one of the most powerful tablets on the market at the moment. The pricing for the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra starts at $1,199.99 in the US.
