Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro named Best of IFA 2025 for delivering the most precise, immersive lighting experience ever.
There’s no denying the fact that Govee knows lights. This company has been making some really incredible lighting products over the past few years, and at IFA this year, they raised the bar again. Govee announced the TV Backlight 3 Pro this year, which includes an HDR triple camera, allowing the lighting strips to get the most accurate color possible.
Govee is the first in the industry to use this setup. Essentially, there are three lenses here that work together to capture colors across multiple zones with unmatched precision. Govee is using advanced optics and an HDR sensor to deliver richer detail, truer colors, and a deeper and more immersive viewing experience.
This camera is also super compact this year, so it won’t interrupt your viewing experience. And by using a camera versus an HDMI box, Govee is able to make your TV more versatile. As HDMI boxes typically get hit with DRM so it can’t always show the colors for every picture. And it also means that you’re down to one, maybe two HDMI ports for streamers and gaming systems.
Govee’s new LuminBlend takes color clarity to the next level
Govee also debuted ‘LuminBlend’ with the TV Backlight 3 Pro. Essentially, this has a self-developed 16-bit color chip with RGBWWIC five-way independent light control technology, white light performance is equally outstanding, and it’s also more accurate for reproducing the clarity of cool white and the softness of warm white light.
The new Govee TV Backlight 3 Pro is going to go on sale very soon (on September 29), and it’ll be available for TVs up to 85″.
