Luxury doesn’t always mean big when it comes to cars, and vice versa, and this is a point Buick was keen to prove when they launched the subcompact Encore back in 2013. Not to be confused with the slightly larger Encore GX, Buick’s Encore was the baby in the line-up, and enjoyed a production run that spanned nine years. Since the model was discontinued in 2022, there are now thousands of Encore models just waiting to be snapped up on the used car market. But should you jump at the chance to own one, or steer clear and look elsewhere?
