Bentley has built its reputation on grand tourers that impress with sculpted design and craftsmanship first, with power serving as a pleasant extra. Every so often, though, the brand decides to push its hardware into more extreme territory, and that has usually meant one thing: a Supersports model.
The new Continental GT Supersports follows that pattern, but instead of simply being the fastest variant, it leans heavily on driver engagement. It’s Bentley’s way of revisiting a theme from its past using modern engineering and a bit of motorsport inspiration.
This Supersports arrives a century after the original 1925 Super Sports, and Bentley treats this one with similar intent. It’s the lightest Bentley in 85 years, the first rear-drive Continental GT outside racing, and it rolls out with a limited run of 500 individually numbered units.

No Expense Spared for this Bentley
The Supersports gets its presence from functional changes more than styling flourishes. A deep front splitter, a fixed rear wing, carbon-fiber dive planes, new side sills, fender blades, and a completely redesigned rear diffuser combine to generate more than 660 pounds of additional downforce compared to a Continental GT Speed. The roof is now carbon fiber, shaving weight and lowering the center of gravity.
With the W12 retiring with the Batur, the Continental GT Supersports uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 good for 657 bhp and 590 lb-ft of torque. An eight-speed dual-clutch sends all power to the rear wheels through an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. Bentley estimates a 0-62 mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed just under 192 mph. Standard equipment includes carbon-ceramic brakes, new 22-inch forged wheels from Manthey Racing, and an Akrapovič titanium exhaust system.

Pricing Not Mentioned, But…
Inside, the Supersports switches to a strict two-seat layout with heavily bolstered sports seats mounted lower in the car. The rear cabin is replaced with a carbon-fiber tub lined in leather. Materials lean toward performance: leather, Dinamica, and exposed carbon fiber dominate the space, with tri-tone color options available. As with all Supersports models, each car carries an individual production number.
Orders will open in March 2026, production will start later that year, and the first deliveries are expected to begin in early 2027 across select global markets. Pricing, however, isn’t mentioned, but if you’re among the few 500 fortunate owners of the new sports tourer, then you know you don’t have to ask.
