Battlefield 6 is fast-approaching with its launch slated for October 10, and once it goes live, it’ll support Razer’s Sensa HD haptics so you can feel what it’s like to continue getting bombarded by tank shells down range. Razer’s Sensa HD haptics can be hit or miss depending on the game. That’s really no fault of Razer’s, as the haptic vibrations need to be added by the developers. So, in the case of Battlefield 6, how the haptics feel as part of the action will depend on Battlefield Studios.
Razer announced that Battlefield 6 will support Sensa HD haptics on September 25, noting that the immersion would be available at launch. The company says there will be 176 curated haptic effects added to the game. You can then pair your experience with things like the Razer Freyja haptic cushion and Razer’s Kraken V4 Pro headset, which also has the Sensa HD haptics built in. In addition, Battlefield 6 will support Razer’s Chroma RGB lighting with specialized effects for that as well.
Sensa HD haptics effects in Battlefield 6 will include everything from tank shell blasts to sniper fire
With 176 different effects, there’s bound to be some interactions in Battlefield 6 you wouldn’t imagine feeling through the haptics. That being said, Razer says it’ll work for everything from the concussive force of a tank shell blast to the crack of sniper fire.
That leaves a long list of possible effects that aren’t confirmed. However, it’s not hard to guess what some of them are going to be. Chances are you’ll be able to feel the effects of frag grenade explosions, as well as explosions from claymore mines and other sources. There will also probably be haptic effects when you’re firing your own weapon. If you played or still play Dune: Awakening, then you may have experienced the haptics for taking off in the Ornithopter. It’s highly likely there will be effects for flying jets and helicopters in Battlefield 6. Furthermore, there are probably effects for most or all of the vehicles.
For the Razer Chroma, there will be over 260 dynamic lighting effects. As with other Chroma games, these will react in real time when things happen. Like when you get a headshot from far away or level up. Stuff like that. If you plan to pick up the game next month, you might also want to consider Razer’s new controller for it.
