Early last year, Audi announced that Italian-born Massimo Frascella would be taking over as head of design. He replaced Marc Lichte who had most recently designed the Audi e-Tron GT, among other things. Frascella is perhaps best known for the design development of the new Land Rover Defender, bringing an icon up to speed for the modern era. Does he have plans to do the same with Audi’s icons, like the R8 and TT sports cars?
