- ABT revealed a new tuning package for the latest Audi SQ5.
- It adds subtle aero parts, 22-inch wheels, and more power.
- The upgraded SQ5’s turbo V6 now produces 435 horsepower.
The new-generation Q5 arrived earlier this year, bringing sharper styling and a deeper focus on technology to one of Audi’s most popular SUVs. Yet, despite the upgrades, there’s still no sign of a full-fat RS model, leaving the SQ5 as the range-topping performance option.

That’s where German tuning house ABT Sportsline steps in, offering a more potent, better-handling, and visually assertive take on the SQ5 for drivers who think Audi didn’t go quite far enough.
The modified SUV immediately distinguishes itself with ABT’s understated aero package, which adds a front splitter, a body-colored rear diffuser, and a larger roof spoiler. The result looks purpose-built yet still cohesive with the factory design.
Adding Some Visual Menace
However, what really catches your eye are the glossy black 22-inch ABT Evo sport wheels that make their debut on the sporty SUV. Alternatively, buyers can choose the more modest 20-inch Sport GR rims with a traditional multi-spoke design, also finished in the same color.

Around the back, quad tailpipes made from stainless steel and finished in matte black replace the stock setup. They measure a full four inches across, giving the SUV a meaner presence.
There’s not much going on inside as the changes are limited to the company’s bespoke door mats and ABT-branded puddle lights.
Power To Match Its Looks
Under the hood lies an upgraded version of the turbocharged 3.0 TFSI V6 engine, now producing 435 horsepower (324 kW / 440 PS) and 600 Nm (442.5 lb-ft) of torque. This represents an increase of 72 hp (54 kW) and 50 Nm (37 lb-ft) over the stock version, thanks to the ABT Power S performance module.

The same treatment was recently applied to the ABT-tuned Audi S5 Avant, which uses the same engine. The extra power is combined with lowering springs, bringing the SQ5 closer to the ground by up to 1.7 inches (45 mm) and making it look more like a baby Q8.
ABT’s new upgrades have only been displayed on the regular SQ5, but the same kit (minus the rear spoiler) is compatible with the SQ5 Sportback coupe SUV as well. The company has yet to announce pricing, but interested owners can contact them directly for a quote.
