When it comes to popular segments in Europe, the small, two-door roadster is one of the most coveted. It can be argued that the English were the first to spearhead the little roadster with models like the Jaguar XK120, which first saw the light of day in 1949. From then on, several other Western European countries followed suit, producing their own small sports cars with removable roofs and a pair of seats with, preferably, a manual gearbox lashed between them.
