Alamo Manhattan hopes to receive a final okay from the City of Dallas to build a high-rise with 400 apartments at Lemmon Avenue and Carlisle Street, a site currently taken up by a 5-story office building (photo). The Dallas Business Journal reports if all goes well, construction on the 1.5-acre site, located at 3400 Carlisle St., is scheduled to begin by early 2027. Plans also call for 7,500 square feet of retail, including two ground-level restaurants. Construction is expected to take two to two and a half years.
Some planned amenities include a mini deck, lounge, pool, fitness center and rooftop dog park on a smaller, 15- or 16-story tower. The taller tower could reach about 24 stories high.
Minneapolis-based BKV Group is the architecture firm assigned to the project.
Founded in 2010, Alamo Manhattan is a real estate company with about $1.2 billion in completed properties across the United States. In Dallas, its portfolio includes the Marriott Uptown, Monaco on the Trail and Fairmount Tower.
