An Air India plane bound for London crashed into a medical college in Ahmedabad, killing at least 200 people.
India’s home minister said one passenger survived the Boeing 787 collision, which happened shortly after take-off. Two hundred forty-two people were onboard, including two pilots and cabin crew.
Authorities are investigating the incident. The crash is the first total loss of a Boeing 787 since the aircraft entered service over a decade ago.
