It’s no secret that laws regulating vehicle safety in the United States are far from “cutting edge”. With a divided Congress that changes every two years, it’s no wonder that some of America’s laws have been updated more slowly than automakers and consumers would like. As a result, some incredibly cool features are currently illegal to sell in the US. Examples include digital sideview mirror cameras, swiveling seats, and most importantly, adaptive beam laser/matrix LED headlights.
