In a sea of OnePlus 15 rumors, leaks, and officially confirmed information, the phone’s launch date just surfaced as well. OnePlus itself seemingly teased the launch date of the phone in one of its official images.
Did the OnePlus 15’s launch date just got confirmed by the company?!
The company showed off the front side of the phone via its official Weibo channel recently. You can see that image below. If you take a closer look at the display, you’ll see that the October 27 is mentioned.

Many people online think that this indicates the phone’s launch date, and that is easily possible. It is, of course, also possible that OnePlus is just playing around with everyone, so judge for yourself.
It sure is not a coincidence that October 27 is mentioned there, as the phone is expected to arrive in October. If this date is accurate, we’re still about a month away from the launch event.
The phone will launch in China first
As a reminder, the device will launch in China first. The global launch will follow later on. We’re still not sure when will that happen, but don’t expect it to launch at the same time, that’s for sure.
The OnePlus 13 arrived back in January, to global markets. The OnePlus 15 could arrive sooner, at least based on rumors, but we’ll have to wait and see.
OnePlus has already confirmed this phone, and the fact it will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The company also talked about the phone’s design and shared an unboxing video as well.
The device’s specifications have popped up online as well. This will surely be an interesting smartphone, and it could even be a bit cheaper than its predecessor. Well, at least in China, we’ll see what will happen in other markets.
