Even if you don’t care about renewable energy, clean fuel sources, or the latest technology, the democratization of horsepower makes it hard to be cynical or apathetic about the proliferation of electric vehicles. The 0-60 times and horsepower output, once the stuff of six-figure, one-of-200 Italian supercars, are now available at about the same price as a mid-range luxury sedan.
