As a whole, the famed V6 has been hailed as one of the most reliable engines ever produced, and not just by Buick or General Motors, but of all time. In fact, the mill was on Ward’s 10 Best Engines list three times, and even secured a spot on Ward’s 10 Best Engines of the 20th Century as the second-best engine ever made, at least according to the famed powerplant ranking authority.
