The OnePlus 15 is coming to the US much sooner than expected. According to a report by CNET, OnePlus confirmed as much during the Snapdragon Summit. Even the exact date was mentioned.
The OnePlus 15 will launch in the US on November 13, it seems
The report claims that the OnePlus 15 will land in the US on November 13. That is much sooner than expected, as the OnePlus 13 arrived in early January. Does this mean that it’s coming to other global markets in November as well? We still don’t know, but probably.
China still get the device first, though. It’s tipped to launch in China at some point in October, we’re still not entirely sure when. The source claims it will be late October, though.
“For more than a decade, OnePlus and Qualcomm Technologies have moved in lock-step to redefine what a flagship can be,” said Pete Lau, the co-founder of OnePlus. He also added: “With Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 at its core, OnePlus 15 carries that legacy forward-delivering the speed, intelligence and efficiency our users demand today and into the future.”
The Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC will fuel the phone
What was also confirmed by the company, earlier today, and then repeated by Pete Lau at Snapdragon Summit, is that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 will fuel the OnePlus 15. That is Qualcomm’s brand new flagship processor that was announced a couple of days ago.
We also know, for a fact, that a 165Hz display will be used. That display is allegedly provided by BOE, the company’s new ‘Oriental Screen’. It will have thinner bezels than the OnePlus 13, too. The bezels will be around 40% thinner and uniform.

A 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery is also tipped, while the DetailMax imaging engine has been confirmed. OnePlus is ending its partnership with Hasselblad. Android 16 will probably come pre-installed on the phone.
