- The 2026 Prologue will offer up to $6,000 off through Honda Financial Services.
- Conquest cash of $3,000 is also available for returning or rival brand customers.
- Total savings for 2025 Prologue SUV buyers can still climb as high as $20,000.
The federal EV tax credit may be on its way out in just over a week, but that doesn’t mean the door is closing on good deals especially towards the end of the month. Even though the 2026 Prologue has yet to arrive in showrooms, buyers can expect some generous offers, including discounts of up to $9,000 once the credit is gone. For an SUV already moving quickly off dealer lots, these added incentives could give Honda’s sales an extra push.
Discounts That Stack Up
The 2026 Prologue will be available with a rebate worth up to $6,000 for those who finance or lease the new EV through Honda Financial Services. This deal will be available until November 3, and the potential savings don’t stop there.

On top of that, Cars Direct notes the 2026 Prologue will also offer a $3,000 conquest cash incentive for shoppers coming from a competing brand or from another Honda model. Interestingly, Honda has yet to announce final pricing details for the 2026 Prologue.

Why the 2025MY Still Holds the Edge
While it’s good news that Honda will continue to sell the Prologue with some good deals through to next year, interested shoppers would be wise to buy a 2025 model before the end of this month.
Currently, the 2025 model is available at 0 percent financing for up to 72 months and includes $9,500 in financing bonuses, in addition to the $7,500 federal EV tax credit. This brings total savings up to $17,000. And that’s not all. Conquest cash offers are also available for the 2025 Prologue, bringing the savings up to $20,300 in some states.
In all likelihood, the 2026 version will be largely identical to the 2025 version. That model received an extra 12 miles (19 km) of range in entry-level guise, while the EX and Touring trims had their respective ranges increased by 13 miles (21 km) and 10 miles (16 km), respectively.
