Ram just made one of its most confusing announcements ever. The fully-electric Ram 1500 REV is now dead, through and through. The range-extended Ram 1500 Ramcharger is also dead, though in name only. Instead, the company will build a range-extended truck called the Ram 1500 REV. Yes, that’s the same name as the now-dead EV, going to the same extended-range truck as before. According to Ram, the REV has a bit more recognition at this point versus Ramcharger.
