Apple dabbled in building a car. According to reports, the company codenamed the effort “Project Titan”. The goal was to develop an all-electric, entirely self-driving Apple Car. Apple seldom spoke publicly about Project Titan and made no binding public commitments. But with reported billions invested and thousands of employees working on development, the company made a concerted effort to have a car be its next titanic product launch.
