Every once in a while, there comes along a mobile accessory that seems so useful we find it hard to live without it, and that’s the kind of feeling you get from the Baseus EnerGeek GT01 that the company unveiled at IFA 2025. This isn’t just a power brick to charge up devices with a cable, like an AC adapter or a power bank, but it’s also a wireless charging pad for devices that support the tech. Not only that, but it’s Qi2. This double-duty accessory is too cool not to take notice of, which is why we decided to give it the Best of IFA 2025 award.
The Baseus EnerGeek GT01 charges at up to 45W
This is one of the more major things about this accessory that really caught our eye. Its ability to charge devices at 45W means it can charge devices faster. That being said, the wireless charging speed caps out at 15W, but that doesn’t take away from how cool this device is. What’s more, is that the power bank portion of the EnerGeek GT01 is detachable and has MagSafe compatibility. The MagSafe compatibility makes it a perfect companion to the Pixel 10 series. So you can easily snap off the AC adapter part of this accessory, then snap your phone onto the MagSafe power bank. This also makes the power bank more compact. You can charge it up, take off the AC adapter portion, then toss the power bank in your bag.
Plus, it has a 10,000mAh battery capacity, and that’s enough to charge your phone a couple of times. Of course, you wouldn’t have to remove the AC adapter plug at all to use it. You could just as easily plug it into the wall, then snap your phone onto the MagSafe pad and charge your device. This versatility really helps this device stand out from the sea of wireless chargers and power banks that are out there. There’s even a little display on the side to display how much power is being output during use. This is, without a doubt, one of the coolest and most useful device announcements we saw from the show, which is why we gave the Baseus EnerGeek GT01 the Best of IFA 2025 Award.
