Roborock is one of the top brands in household robot vacuums, and one of its latest, the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro, announced during IFA 2025, promises to be one of the most powerful robot vacuums on the market thanks to its incredibly high Pa suction power. This, plus its ability to adapt to its surroundings, all in service of delivering an effortless clean, is why we gave the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro the Best of IFA 2025 award.
The Qrevo Curv 2 Pro builds on what made the Qrevo Curv such a great vacuum, then expands on it by adding loads of new features and quality-of-life improvements. For example, Roborock has bumped the Pa up to 25,000, which is likely to make it very hard for the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro to miss anything when it’s doing a cleaning pass. Even the tiniest of particles that like to hide away in the most stubborn to clean spots.
The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro can maintain optimal suction contact even on thick carpets
While a hardwood floor, or at least some type of hard flooring, would be ideal for a robot vacuum in terms of simplicity, the reality is that most people have carpet or rugs throughout the home in some spots. Luckily, these shouldn’t be an obstacle for the Qrevo Curv 2 Pro, as it can maintain optimal suction contact with carpets up to 3cm thick, Roborock says. This should go for rugs that are up to 3cm thick as well.
In short, you can rest assured that the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro is going to clean your floors properly. Thanks to the vacuum’s self-adjusting height, it raises and lowers as needed throughout your home.
Precise mapping of the home with the RetractSense navigation system
For a robot vacuum to do its job properly, it needs to know where it’s going. To do that, it has to first map out your home. After mapping out your home, it knows exactly where to clean every time thereafter. The Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro uses Roborock’s RetractSense Navigation system. This is a navigation system that’s capable of 360-degree scanning, so things are always mapped out as they should be, and the vacuum knows where it’s going. That being said, sometimes it needs to travel under stuff. This is where the “retract” in the RetractSense comes in.
When needed, the navigation module will retract automatically so it doesn’t get caught on stuff. In this state, it provides a 100-degree rear view. Once the vacuum is back out in the open, it rises back to provide the 360-degree view. These are all of the reasons why we felt the Roborock Qrevo Curv 2 Pro deserved the Best of IFA 2025 award.
