Samsung could roll out the stable build of the One UI 8 update for several of its flagship devices as early as next week. We already know the brand will first release the new firmware for the Galaxy S25 series. Ahead of the rollout, Samsung has released one final One UI 8 Beta update for the Galaxy S25 series of phones. It’s a last-minute update that brings some finishing touches alongside a few bug fixes before the stable firmware’s rollout.
The final One UI 8 Beta build is rolling out to Galaxy S25 users
A little over a week ago, Samsung released the One UI 8 Beta 6 update for the latest S series flagships. Now, the company has rolled out the One UI 8 Beta 7 upgrade for the Galaxy S25 devices, and it’s likely the final beta build before the stable rollout.
According to tipster Tarun Vats on X (formerly Twitter), Samsung is rolling out the new firmware version S93xBXXU5ZYI3 for Galaxy S25 owners in Germany. The size of the new update is around 600MB.
The update fixes a handful of bugs
The final One UI 8 Beta update for the Galaxy S25 fixes a bug where the clock stutters when unlocking or locking the lock screen. It has fixed a problem that was causing the Lock Screen position to move down in the earlier beta build. Furthermore, the new update focuses on resolving issues with font rendering at different locations and audio over Bluetooth. Samsung’s changelog hasn’t highlighted any major bug fixes for the new beta build.
If we believe the reports, Samsung will release the One UI 8 stable update for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra phones on September 18. The brand’s Galaxy S25 Edge model could get the same treatment a little late on September 25th, alongside the Galaxy S24 series phones. Currently, the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy Tab S11 series are among the first devices to offer the One UI 8 stable version.
