
- MONTICELLOAM, LLC, a specialized multifamily and seniors housing bridge lending platform, appointed Liam Sorensen as Senior Relationship Manager, Originations. Before joining MONTICELLOAM, Sorensen held key roles at JLL and Capital One.
- Flexible workspace provider infinitSpace is powering up for its expansion into North America with the appointment of Andrea Pirrotti-Dranchak, a flex pioneer, as its new Head of Real Estate for the Americas. With more than 25 years’ experience across more than 65 countries in leading revenue, real estate, and brand expansion for fast-moving, category-defining companies, she will now help devise infinitSpace’s commercial strategy, forging new partnerships with CRE landlords and asset managers.
- Dennis Ovalle has joined Manhattan Skyline Management Corp as SVP of Property Management and Operations, a newly created senior position. Ovalle will lead property management and operations throughout Manhattan Skyline’s multifamily portfolio. Before joining Manhattan Skyline, Ovalle served as SVP of Operations at the Related Companies.
- Slate Asset Management, a global investor and manager focused on essential real estate and infrastructure assets, appointed Neil Kaufman as Chief Administrative Officer (“CAO”), based in the New York office. Previously, Kaufman served as Global Director of Human Resources and Assistant General Counsel at Soros Fund Management, where he led all aspects of the firm’s human resources function and managed a diversified slate of employment-related legal matters. Before that, he spent nearly 15 years at Goldman Sachs.
- Convergent Energy and Power, a provider of energy storage solutions in North America, appointed Leandro Abreu as COO. Before joining Convergent, Abreu served as the CEO of Prospera + Greener where he led the strategic expansion and merger of Prospera with Greener, forming an ESG-driven energy platform aimed at reducing consumer carbon footprints through solar generation.
- Nearly 50 business and civic organizations have formed the Build More New York coalition to support jobs, construction and development across the state by reforming the outdated Scaffold Law. Build More New York is rallying around Rep. Nick Langworthy’s Infrastructure Expansion Act, which will preempt the Scaffold Law for federally funded projects and promote the development of critical infrastructure such as housing, roads, bridges, tunnels and schools that support jobs and New York’s economy.
