Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), pushing for more transparency from the Trump administration about the late, disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, will speak to reporters Wednesday morning alongside some of the convicted sex offender’s accusers.
The press conference comes a day after Massie filed a discharge petition to force a vote on his bill pressing the Justice Department for the release of all the files related to Epstein’s case, including information related to his clients and close circle. The petition needs 218 signatures to force action on the resolution. Massie and Khanna have both expressed confidence in the measure.
The victims also met behind closed doors on Tuesday with the House Oversight Committee.
The event is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m. EDT.
