The owners of 447 State St. in downtown Salem have finished efforts to restore a portion of the McGilchrist Roth building to its historic Art Deco roots and have listed the building for lease.
Designed by Donna Kerley with Donna Kerley Designs, the 8,050-square-foot tri-level space blends modern, fashion design with old-world historic charm. The property features six private suites, a conference room, and an IT hub built for infrastructure. It also has an upgraded kitchen, a contemporary breakroom and a lounge for gatherings.
There are multiple access points throughout the levels, which open up into popular restaurants such as Ritter’s Homemade Foods, Archive Coffee & Bar, and Ricky’s Bubbles. Constructed in 1916, the building is open to a variety of tenants, including offices, services, retail or restaurants. Tenants can occupy the entire space or different portions.
