The latest leak comes from tipster Majin Bu. According to the report, the Clear Case for the iPhone 17 Pro will have a big design change that is a departure from previous models. Instead of a fully transparent body, this version may feature a semi-opaque, white section that covers a large portion of the phone‘s back, including the glass and MagSafe area. This creates a unique aesthetic where only the transparent edges and the camera module allow the phone’s original color to show through. The design gives it a stylish, framed look.
This new layout appears to serve a couple of strategic purposes. First, it smoothly integrates the new, lower-positioned Apple logo into the design without any distracting cutouts. Second, it provides a cleaner aesthetic for the MagSafe system, which is now surrounded by a white, rounded rectangle instead of the typical open circle seen on many third-party cases. This refined design gives the case a more cohesive and intentional feel.
Beyond the new aesthetic, the case could also come with an improved anti-yellowing coating. As its name suggests, this will help keep it looking new over time, directly addressing a common complaint with clear cases.
