Automakers invest a great deal of their time and money into attempting to predict what direction the world of cars is going to take next; one way they try to stay ahead of the curve is by developing concept cars. These unique creations are frequently a sneak peek into an upcoming production model, but many times they do not result in a production run and simply remain standalone works of design and engineering.
