Parrott Creek Child & Family Services has opened an expansion to its existing residential treatment center for youth in Oregon City.
The $29.3 million expansion includes 22,140 square feet of new residential, education, therapeutic, recreation and administrative space. The addition doubles the facility’s capacity, enabling it to serve up to 40 youth. The project team included Walsh Construction Co. and real estate development company Adre.
The campus is located in a woodland area outside Oregon City and was also built with a solar array that can supply 80% of the facility’s energy needs. “This new campus stands as a benchmark for the level of care and infrastructure our youth deserve,” said Simon Fulford, Executive Director.
The project broke ground in October of 2023 in response to the growing need for children’s care in Oregon. The new facility is located on Parrott Creek’s 80-acre property and includes three buildings with residential, treatment, education, recreation and administrative workspace.
