National economic consulting firm Econic Partners LLC has signed on for more than 18,700 square feet at the Diamond at 150 N. Michigan Avenue.
CBRE’s Brad Serot and Tony Coglianese represented Econic Partners on the deal. Madison Rose’s Abby McFadyen represented building ownership, reported the Chicago Business Journal. Located at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Randolph Street, The Diamond features contemporary office space.
The 41-story, 661,477-square-foot property was bought by R2, a Chicago-based private equity real estate and development firm, in 2024. The tower is known for its unique and sloped diamond-shaped roof along the city’s skyline.
Los Angeles-based Econic Partners launched earlier this year, with a focus on antitrust litigation, mergers, commercial disputes, and other economic matters. Econic’s team comprises economists with experience across industries, including consumer goods, healthcare, technology, transportation, telecommunications, energy, sports, and media.
