
Dwight Mortgage Trust, the affiliate REIT of Dwight Capital, closed a $43 million refinancing on behalf of Jackson Dearborn Partners on the Avian, a newly built, 169-unit luxury apartment community located at 217 S Weber St, in downtown Colorado Springs, CO.Â
Community amenities include a parking garage, resort-style pool, spacious gym, and work-from-home lounges. The community’s central location offers convenient, walkable access to dining, retail, public transportation, and major employment centers. Rents range from $1,475 to $3,510, and room sizes range from 572 to 1,233 square feet.
Dwight closed the loan upon issuing the initial Temporary Certificate of Occupancy. The proceeds were used to repay the project’s construction loan and fund transaction-related costs. Dwight Capital’s Brandon Baksh and Talisse Thompson originated the transaction on behalf of the sponsor.
