Not too long after the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz CLE-Class, we started seeing prototypes of the AMG CLE 63 version running around. Alongside some of these shots, we also started hearing rumors that Mercedes wouldn’t be using the same plug-in hybrid four-cylinder powertrain as the C 63 S E Performance. Instead, reports said it would go back to using a big V8. The evidence for this supposed V8 has been mounting, and photos from Instagram account Rollende Reporter show some of the most concrete evidence yet that our V8 dreams will come true.
