Kids can draw and color a sheet of foam paper using markers, paint pens, or a paintbrush, then add water to see the magic happen right before their eyes!
The magic foam paper is made from compressed natural sponge, so it expands when wet and retracts again when it dries. The sheets are also easy to cut when dry to make fun shapes and cutouts.
This kit includes 10 pieces of 4″x 4″ foam paper, a water pen, two pipettes, and a small frame to display your favorite masterpiece. For best results its recommended you use an acrylic or oil-based drawing tool to prevent smudging.

Let’s just say there’s already a foam paper refill in my Amazon cart! 😉 My kids loved this activity so much! It is HIGHLY satisfying, they have cut it into shapes for fun 3D ‘characters’ to play with, made cute 3D art to hang up. It is a little on the expensive side for such a small amount of paper in a pack, but for a creative summer activity, I think it’s a must-try at least once.
