- A Ford Bronco Sport driver was caught on video driving in fresh concrete.
- She apparently wasn’t paying attention while traveling in a construction zone.
- The woman was able to free the vehicle by herself, but it was coated in concrete.
Michigan has some of the worst roads in the country, but it’s not for a lack of trying. Quite the opposite as repairs can go awry because of clueless drivers like the genius behind the wheel of this Ford Bronco Sport.
As you can see in the brief clip, the driver was traveling in a construction zone and apparently wasn’t paying attention. This proved disastrous as the crossover drifted off the paved road, dipping both driver side wheels in fresh concrete.

The video picks up there as we can see the woman struggling to get back on the paved surface. She eventually corrects her mistake, but both wheels and tires are absolutely coated in concrete. The clip ends shortly thereafter, but hopefully the woman was smart enough to hose everything off as quickly as possible.
The incident appears to have taken place in Southfield and the Oakland County Road Commission wasn’t amused. In a short post, they said “This is reason #1201 why road construction takes forever!”
While it’s fortunate that the woman drifted into fresh concrete rather than a road worker, her mistake likely wasn’t cheap or easy to fix. There’s no word on that cost, but resurfacing work on 12 Mile Road is part of a $5.1 million project, which will be paid by a mix of federal, state, and local funds.
That section of road carries approximately 23,500 vehicles daily and the project is expected to be completed in late summer. Of course, that’s assuming other Bronco drivers don’t decide to try out their GOAT modes.
