Oldham Goodwin broke ground on a SpringHill Suites by Marriott, an eight-story, 150-key, all-suite riverfront hotel located in the heart of New Braunfels, Texas.
Located at 738 IH 35 North, on the banks of the Guadalupe River, the 150,000-square-foot SpringHill Suites New Braunfels River Village will offer guests direct access to over 700 feet of river frontage. Arch-Con Corporation is the general contractor for the project, which is estimated to cost $40 million.
The hotel will feature over 14,000 square feet of food and beverage spaces. In addition to a poolside cafe, there will be a Tex-Mex restaurant, a breakfast lounge and a coffee bar with river views.
The hotel will include 4,400 square feet of flexible event space, including boardrooms, ballroom-style meeting halls, and a prep kitchen for on-site catering. Additional amenities will include a two-tier swimming pool, a 1,328-square-foot fitness center, a business center, laundry facilities, and boat docks providing direct access to the Guadalupe River for recreation.
