MIDTOWN, Manhattan (PIX11) — At least two people were stabbed at Grand Central Terminal during the morning rush on Wednesday, according to the police department.
Emergency teams responded to the scene after a 911 call for a stabbing just before 7:30 a.m., a representative for the fire department said.
A 20-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were both stabbed in the abdomen, in the station’s mezzanine, authorities say.
Both were transported to a local hospital and were expected to survive, police said.
Authorities are investigating what led up to the stabbing and are looking for at least one suspect who ran from the location.
