Tempe Marketplace added new retailers to its shopping and entertainment district. The new lineup includes Sam’s Club and Carhartt, which occupy more than 150,000 square feet throughout the marketplace. Sam’s Club will open the store in early August. This will be Carhartt’s first location in the Phoenix metro area.
The membership club division of Walmart will provide shopping options, including curbside pickup, home delivery, and the new Scan & Go technology. As the primary form of payment in-club, members will use the Scan & Go feature in the Sam’s Club app to scan each product as they shop, and computer vision-powered exit technology will verify the goods purchased upon exiting the club.
Carhartt, the renowned workwear brand, will be opening its first location in the Phoenix Metro area at the end of 2025.
Tempe Marketplace is located at 2000 E Rio Salado Pkwy, in Tempe.
