In the early 2000s, roadsters were the name of the game and upscale manufacturers were turning out some successful, high-performance versions. Mercedes-Benz wanted in on that game too and decided to launch its own compact, supercharged roadster, with its own blend of AMG engineering and drop-top thrills. Some of these cars are still circulating today and if you can find one, it’s definitely worth checking out. After all, the Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 AMG is an old-school car that’s rooted in mechanical purity and is a great analog choice.
