
In the early 2000s, roadsters were the name of the game and upscale manufacturers were turning out some successful, high-performance versions. Mercedes-Benz wanted in on that game too and decided to launch its own compact, supercharged roadster, with its own blend of AMG engineering and drop-top thrills.
