BioAgilytix, a bioanalytical laboratory that works with pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies on drug development, is expanding on its already robust Durham footprint. The company is building a 26,000 square foot lab space to support two other sprawling buildings in the area.
The Triangle Business Journal reports BoAgilytix recently completed a 76,000-square-foot facility on South Miami Boulevard in Durham to go along with the company’s 87,000-square-foot headquarters building at 2300 Dglert Drive.
The new $20 million facility includes 26,000 square feet of lab space to support the company’s chemistry, manufacturing and controls capabilities.
BioAgilytix is filling out the new space with people and equipment, a process that will continue over the next two to three years. The firm is funding the expansion internally. It is a portfolio company of the private equity firm Cinven, which acquired a majority stake in BioAgilytix in December 2021.
