Already on a roll as, officially, the world’s largest automaker, construction of Toyota’s brand-new headquarters in Japan’s Shinagawa Station West Exit Area District is set to begin in just a few days on May 31, and marks the latest significant step in the Japanese corporation’s plans to expand into a globally-reaching “mobility company.” That means the company wants to move beyond just selling drivable everyday cars like the Corolla.
