Rallies Pickleball will house 17 pickleball courts at a shuttered Pangco Furniture warehouse location. The new facility, at 13401 Gulf Freeway, will take up just over 50,000 square feet. The grand opening is expected later this month.
The Houston Business Journal reports Rallies Pickleball Club is a joint venture between Hesham Suliman and Arthur Romero, who owns The Pickleball Spot at 5310 Elm St. Suliman has previously owned and operated several family entertainment center businesses.
First Deco Group, as general contractor, oversaw the overall design and construction of the build-out, while Spring-based Quality Courts and Outdoors handled the construction of the courts themselves.
All courts will have direct aisle access and will be open 24 hours a day. Twelve of the 17 courts will be championship-caliber courts.
