
- Hoar Construction has announced the promotion of Jason Bennett and Brady Johnson to region presidents in key markets, including Nashville, Chattanooga, D.C., Austin, Houston and North Texas. In these positions, Bennett and Johnson will each oversee operations and business development initiatives across several divisions, working to recruit and develop talent while ensuring client expectations are met. Together, the two leaders have spent 52 years with the company.
- Adolfson & Peterson Construction broke ground on a multi-phased construction project for Christ the King Catholic Church and School in Dallas. Construction will occur in phases and include the complete renovation of Christ the King’s Parish Hall, demolition of Bernadine Hall which will be replaced by a new, 25,000 square foot academic building and a new chapel. Beck Architecture is the project architect. Construction is slated to start this spring with a tentative summer 2026 completion.
- BH Properties acquired The Park on Barton Creek, a Class-A, 205,293-square-foot office complex situated at the intersection of South MoPac and Loop 360 in Southwest Austin, Texas. Leasing will continue to be handled by Endeavor Real Estate Group’s William Crawley and Jonathan Tate. Originally built in 2006, The Park at Barton Creek is located at 3711 MoPac Expressway and features two Class-A office buildings and separate parking structures. The property recently underwent a $1.3 million capital improvement program.
- Shannon Waltchack purchased The Shops at Leander, a 37,233-square-foot multitenant retail center. The seller, Kalantari Group, was represented by Marcus & Millichap, which also procured the buyer. The property is 70% leased and has a range of tenants.Â
- MetroNational and Radom Capital have broken ground on their first joint venture, which will add a new community hub and retail center in Memorial City. The project, Greenside, will convert 35,000 square feet of warehouse space at 1085 Gessner Road into a retail center aimed at blending retail, restaurant and service tenants, including wellness- and beauty-focused establishments.
