Italy’s contributions to the motoring world are widespread and well-known. It’s hard to argue with the level of impact the Italians have had, especially when you consider the supercar was actually born in Italy with the introduction of the Lamborghini Miura in 1966, a model widely believed to be the definitive first supercar. We also can’t forget about the huge number of other sporty models produced by Italian automakers across several brands, like Ferrari and Maserati.
