During the 1950s and 1960s, Europe’s sports car market was experiencing a boom. Most Western European countries began churning out small, two-seater sports cars in large numbers. Models like the Jaguar E-Type, Lotus Elan, and the short-lived but stunningly beautiful BMW 507 come to mind. We also can’t forget about the Italians during this time, as they produced icons like the Lancia Fulvia and the Fiat 124 Spider.
