Touchscreens are not inherently a bad thing in cars. There are situations in which they’re very useful; they’re great for scrolling around on a map to find something. A touchscreen keyboard is great for typing in a destination. And if you’ve got some features and functions that only occasionally need adjustment, or are complicated to adjust, it’s great to have the flexibility of a touchscreen to handle multiple unique menus.
