Compared to other car brands of this level, Porsche doesn’t feel like it’s trying to compensate for something. It has always felt like Lamborghini was there so you could be looked at by other people, while Porsche was purely for the enjoyment of the driver. Porsche’s roots as an engineering and motorsport company mean the focus of its special 911 models is usually the track, but sometimes, it puts its special sauce on cars built for the back roads of Germany.
