If you’ve been wondering what the iPhone 18 will look like, well, you’re in the right place. The design of the base Apple iPhone 18 has just surfaced, and it confirms expectations.
The base iPhone 18 has just appeared in three colors
If you take a look at the gallery below, you’ll see the iPhone 18 in three colors. This seems to be the final design of the phone. The fourth image in the gallery shows the dummy design based on what the phone will actually look like.
So, as you can see, the new camera plateau is included here, inspired by the ‘Pro’ iPhone models. That will be the one major change compared to the iPhone 17, design-wise.
The cameras are still vertically aligned and placed in the top-left corner, but now they sit on top of the camera deco. The LED flash sits in the top-right corner of that camera deco, which does protrude on the back.
White, Pink, and Dark Blue colors are coming
The phone is shown in White, Pink, and Dark Blue colors, though we’re not sure if those will be their final names. We all know that Apple likes to spice up the names of its colors, so… it remains to be seen.
The iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and iPhone Duo were announced last month. The iPhone 18 was not, which is completely unlike Apple. The base iPhone model always arrives in September, alongside the ‘Pro’ models.
Well, the company decided to make an exception this time around. Why? Well, there are two reasons. One is the iPhone Duo that arrived, and the other is the immense popularity of the iPhone 17.
That is also not surprising, as the iPhone 17 is actually a huge upgrade over the iPhone 16. So Apple probably decided to leave it be for 6 more months, as the iPhone 18 is tipped to arrive in March 2027.
