Xiaomi’s latest and greatest fitness tracker has started its global rollout. We’re talking about the Xiaomi Smart Band 11, which was announced in early September and then appeared on the company’s global website three weeks ago.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 has started its global rollout
It is now available to purchase in some markets outside of China, marking the start of its global rollout. The rollout started in other parts of Asia, specifically South Korea and Hong Kong, but we’re guessing that the availability will spread like wildfire from this point on.
The company’s official FAQ points in that direction too, as it suggests that the Xiaomi Smart Band 11 is coming to Europe shortly.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 11 has a 1.72-inch AMOLED display and promises up to 21 days of battery life. Its display has a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, while an aluminum or ceramic case is on offer.
The watch band is 9.9mm thick, and there’s an optional model with NFC connectivity. There are also over 150 sports modes available, along with enhanced sleep management, heart rate tracking, and much more.
Needless to say, in addition to tracking your fitness activity, this can also track your sleep and provide all the functions of a regular smartwatch. In other words, it can send you notifications, show you the weather, and much more.
It is more expensive than its predecessor
Many of you are probably wondering about its price tag. Well, it starts at HKD369 and KRW76,800 in Hong Kong and Korea, respectively. That basically means that it costs around 12% more than its predecessor in Hong Kong, and around 26% more in Korea.
So you can expect a price bump in Europe too when the tracker arrives. As a reminder, the Smart Band 10 costs €49.99 in the EU.
